Meadow Mill - 3rd Floor

Dundee Developments

29 September 2011

Work is absolutely cracking on up at Meadow Mill in Dundee. Walls are coming down and we will probably have to dispose of about three tons of peeling pain off the ceiling! Again, I think Im going to keep a photo diary on Flickr - just so that we can all keep an eye on how the project progresses over the coming months. I know that many of the artists must feel sad seing the walls and doors being ripped out and the photos do look a bit brutal but it is brilliant to have the opportunity to improve the spaces and ultimately support even more artists in Dundee.

In the meantime, all the artists are either working from home or in decant space in other floors of Meadow Mill or in Airlie Place in the university campus. Everyone will be catching up again this weekend as they are doing a pop up open studios event in their temporary spaces which will bring a new twist to the open studios weekend this year.

David and Chris are up there today seeing the latest and I'm sure they will have even more news and photos for me to add when they come back later.
