PULP: Paper Arts Workshop Moves to Hanson Street
20 February 2013
We are delighted to announce that PULP: Paper Arts Workshop have relocated from their Partick premises to our Hanson Street Studios in Dennistoun, Glasgow.
Alison Newman, Founder and Manager said: "The new workshop is coming together and to date we have laid new non-slip floor, installed water, relocated the equipment and moved the Hollander across into the small room up top. After some general organisation, PULP: Paper Arts will be ready for new beginnings.
The new floor was funded through a £400 contribution from Caledonian Paper Mill, Ayrshire and 'Win a Workshop' donations. The winner will be announced really soon and I am very grateful to all those who contributed."
Alison aims to have a more official launch end of March with weekend courses and starting in April. As planned, PULP will continue working with artists / makers on an individual basis and in the future hope to host residencies within the space too. In the meantime for more information about the workshop and what it will provide, please visit www.paperartsworkshop.co.uk
We think that PULP:Paper Arts will be a great addition to our workshop facilities at Hanson Street. Other workshops include Glasgow Ceramics Studio, Arthire Picture Framing, Painting Restoration Studio and Architectural Glass Artists.
