Jacki Parry is one of the fouding members of Dovelhill Studios (now known as East Campbell Street), Glasgow. Jacki is a pioneering artist in the field of papermaking and will be showing a new body of sculptural works at Glasgow Print Studio. The show is entitled Resonance and opens on 3rd February 2012.

Paper is central to the conceptual, physical and material activity which drives my work in the studio and workshop.

Former Head of Printmaking at Glasgow School of Art (1991- 2001) Jacki Parry’s work requires a form of reading without words. Born in Australia, Jacki has lived in the UK since 1965. Parry’s work responds to changes in landscape and the elements and to information, its containment and manipulation.
