Participating in this year's Wasps Open Studios

The King Street studios are in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City and have 54 individual studios over 2 floors. They were first set up two decades ago and, over the years, have contributed to the regeneration of the area alongside many other cultural organisations including The Glasgow Print Studio, Street level, Transmission and The Tron theatre.

We will continue to occupy this building, known as the King St North Block, until the end of October 2006. The building will then be refurbished to accommodate 9 arts organisations as part of Glasgow City Council's Housing the Visual Arts in the Merchant City Strategy.

Wasps' artists will relocate from King Street North Block to next door's South Block for approximately 2 years until the renovation of the historic Briggait - and new home to Wasps' Artists - is complete.
