A former bakery, our Patriothall building houses 60 individual studios over 3 floors. Studios are heated, have good light and lift access.
The building has a successful exhibitions space on the ground floor for new and emerging artists. Over the years, Patriothall Gallery has supported hundreds of artists at varying stages in their careers and worked with the local community on many initiatives. The gallery is managed and programmed by one of the artist tenants on a voluntary basis. The studios are a 15 minute walk from the city centre or you can catch a 29 bus from Princes Street to Hamilton Place.
We have just finished a refurbishement programme, creating 15 new heated studios on the top floor, including a short term let project space - available for periods of up to 3 months. 29 bus from Princes Street to Hamilton Place or 10 minute walk from Princes Street. On Hamilton Place, walk through the vennel next to Alldays - opposite Stockbridge library - to locate the building entrance.
