Scalloway
Shetland ZE1 0TQ
The Booth was constructed in 2001 by Scalloway Waterfront Trust on the site of an old fisherman's store - the oldest building in the town.
Wasps, in conjunction with Scalloway Waterfront Trust have built a live-work unit overlooking Scalloway waterfront. As the lottery funded programme ended in December 2005, the Booth is now available for rent by individual artists. It costs £360 all inclusive.
Please see our Live-Work section for more information and availability.
Directions
The Booth Shetland is reached by a 12 hour boat journey from Aberdeen, ferries from Scandinavia or by air with flights to Sumburgh Airport on the Southern tip on the Shetland Mainland. Scalloway is located on the west side of Shetland about 5 miles from the main town of Lerwick. The Booth itself is easily located on the waterfront of Scalloway Harbour.
