A vacancy has recently become available in our team for a full-time Property Manager with proven experience of building management to oversee the everyday operation of some of our central belt based properties, including Edinburgh.

Reporting to the Head of Property (based in Glasgow), the role is a vital part of our small but dedicated Property Team, which ensures that our estate is well-run, well-maintained and fully compliant at all time.

Wasps has 20 properties across Scotland, from the Borders to the Shetland Isles, ranging in scale, condition and construction, supporting over 1000 artist tenants. The role will primarily oversee the property maintenance and management across a number of buildings including three properties in Edinburgh – Patriothall Studios, West Park Place Studios, Albion Road Studios and shortly a new property opening in Granton.

We are currently working in partnership with The City of Edinburgh Council to bring the former Granton Gasworks Railway Station building back into use as a creative hub, forming the cornerstone of the city’s Granton Waterfront development plan, and becoming our fourth property in the city.

Wasps has also recently opened the second phase of our Inverness Creative Academy development – a £6m project to convert the former Inverness Royal Academy building into a hub of creativity, including offices, artist studios, hot desking, café and gallery. In 2019 we also completed Perth Creative Exchange – a £4.5m partnership project with Perth & Kinross Council to convert a former primary school in Perth city centre into a unique creativity facility for the region.
