This body of work is the exploration of the imagined and observed within architecture through the process of layering, repetition, cut-outs, and experimenting with varied mediums and materials, breaking the conventional roles that they contain. Questioning what’s left behind throughout the making process “is it about immediacy of perception, first glance and retaining that idea or image” The information comes from a fixation and focus on negative and positive shapes. Working with linen, drafting-film, plywood and migrating back to paper through the organising of the pictorial space within these new substrates.
