Creative Office Lettings Coordinator
Contract: Fixed Term – 9 months

Wasps has been supporting the arts community in Scotland for 44 years. We have grown to become one of the UK’s largest studio providers and home to Scotland’s largest cultural community. We currently house 1,000 visual artists, 35 arts charities and 33 creative businesses at 20 locations from the Scottish Borders to the Shetland Islands. Their work in turn touches the lives of thousands of people across Scotland and beyond.
We now have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team to support our new facilities in Perth and Inverness to establish as creative hubs. The Creative Office Lettings Co-ordinator will join our Property Team, on a short-term basis, to populate our newly developed creative industry offices in both cities.

This new role is a fixed term opportunity to support the launch of our two newest buildings, helping us manage and coordinate all lettings enquiries for creative office space in Perth Creative Exchange and Inverness Creative Academy - Phase 2.
Reporting to the Head of Property, and working closely with our Head of Projects and Marketing & Communications Manager, this role is a vital part of our Covid recovery plans and our longer term aspirations to create vibrant communities at our Perth Creative Exchange and Inverness Creative Academy buildings, both of which are firsts for their regions. Perth Creative Exchange opened in November 2019, and has been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. Inverness Creative Academy Phase 2 is currently under development and will open in Autumn 2021.
The post-holder will have strong sales track record, ideally within commercial lettings or property, and will be comfortable taking the lead in identifying and tracking leads for potential office occupiers, assertively managing the process from initial enquiry to lease-signing, and scheduling space viewings for both properties.

Place of Work
The post will be based either at Perth Creative Exchange (Stormont Street, Perth, PH1 5NW), or at Inverness Creative Academy (Stephen’s Street, Inverness, IV2 3JP) dependant on the candidate’s location. Occasional travel will be required to the other site, and also to our head office in Glasgow.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic the post holder may be required to work remotely, in line with Scottish Government guidance. The post holder will therefore require to be flexible in line with current circumstances.
Hours of Work
35 hours per week. Monday to Friday. 9.00-5.00pm.
