Acrylic on cradled board. The board is 15cm square and 2.2cm deep, with the edges painted white. The painting has been sealed with acrylic varnish so It can hung directly on the wall as it is, or would look equally good in a frame of your choosing.

One of a series of paintings from 2020, remembering moments in the landscape that seemed particularly magical. There is a point on the road between Perth and Birnam where the landscape begins to change and often the weather and the light can change dramatically. You can sometimes drive into a curtain of rain and It can feel like moving into another world. This particular day it felt like perfect timing to catch the light.
