Original acrylic painting on paper. Part of my Highland Hamlets series of paintings.
This was inspired by the area surrounding my house in Ross and Cromarty where there were often fields full of barley to support the local distilleries. The tiny house is a reference to many of the dainty ancient cottages and buildings around the landscape, including a very small and ancient church.
The artwork will be wrapped carefully and posted; it is unframed. Please let me know if you would like me to include a message for the recipient if you are sending as a gift.

Being based in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, I am delighted to share my impressions of this wild, remote, and richly diverse landscape and culture with you. Explore the sea, the sky, the small hamlets, and the unique botanical and woodland settings through my mixed media paintings on paper and canvas, and decorative pieces. All of my work has a story and is based around nature and life in the Highlands. I really look forward to some of my colourful, playful work joining your art collection.
I also teach online and face to face workshops on creativity and art techniques, as well as providing a range of art kits and materials including hand blended drawing and writing inks.
