We hope that you store your item in a safe place and recommend you keep your piece clean and dry. Lotions, creams and perfumes can tarnish both Brass and clay items, therefore we suggest these sorts of products are not applied when you are wearing your piece.
A polish pad is included with all brass pieces. This pad should be kept clean and can be used to firmly wipe over brass to make it shine. Alternatively a natural patina will develop on brass over time, adding a unique character to your individual piece which you may like to savour. Keep brass dry to prevent tarnish.
Polymer clay can be wiped clean, gently. But please keep it dry and avoid dropping these items.

Tarney and Dolan is a slow made jewellery project founded by artist Katie Eyre. Originally developed in 2018, this wearable collection of tactile shapes started out as playful objects made mainly from polymer clay. Today the collection incorporates brass, silver and semi precious stones. A focus on conscious and sustainable making is increasing and practices which reflect this are being established. The name is a marrying of both Katie’s Grandmothers’ maidens names and pays homage to the many women who have come before us and passed on their wisdom, joy and strength. Each piece is crafted with care by hand in the Glasgow studio.
