Inspired by the huge skies and gorgeous colours often seen around the Cromarty Firth, this painting looks across to Nigg Yard, dominated by an enormous storm. The large buildings are shown with doors open exposing vast cavernous spaces of shelter, and the vertiginous turbines maintained there.
