This is based off a drawing I made in London at the Royal Drawing School. At weekends, I would visit Waterloo and draw the figures as they moved along the path belief me. I enjoyed the people in context with the moving river that would always change according to the weather and the time of day. In the setting, there was an interesting relationship between the dynamic manmade elements and natural wonders. I loved how the river and trees seemed rooted in the centre of an everchanging city. It drew me to memories of being home, up North in Scotland.
