Ana Hine (b. 1990) is an artist from Dundee, Scotland. A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, she finished her masters there in 2019 and has had an art studio at Wasps, Meadow Mill ever since. Her work is highly autobiographical and self-referential, concerned with communicating ideas and feelings. In her paintings she uses text and Teeline Shorthand in a soft girl/emo teenage aesthetic of vibrant pinks and moody one-liners to explore topics such as mental health recovery, identity politics, and the importance of self-care.
