Hanson Street Studios has excellent facilities including:
The Project Space at Hanson Street is an open plan area located next to the main entrance of the building. The space itself is 27m x 12.8m. With brushed concrete floors and lots of natural light, the space has an industrial feel. It is embedded within a working artists’ studio building with the Glasgow Ceramics Studio and glass-making studio just next door. Given the floor space, it lends itself to larger scale works and installations and evening performance events.
For more information on the Hanson Street Project Space you can click on the yellow tab below, or please email proposals@waspsstudios.org.uk.
We thank all the funders who made the Hanson Street Studios £2.2 million project possible, including the Scottish Arts Council Capital Lottery Fund, Glasgow City Council, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow, The Gannochy Trust, The Hugh Fraser Foundation, The Craignish Trust and the Trades House of Glasgow Commonweal Fund with corporate support from Park Systems Furniture and Soluis Technologies.
Tenants of the Wasps community receive the following benefits:
The Hanson Street Studios building is fully accessible. Car parking is free, with disabled parking spaces available. There is a lift and disabled toilets on the ground floor.
