We thank all the funders who made this £2.2 million project possible, including the Scottish Arts Council Capital Lottery Fund, Glasgow City Council, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow, The Gannochy Trust, The Hugh Fraser Foundation, The Craignish Trust and the Trades House of Glasgow Commonweal Fund with corporate support from Park Systems Furniture and Soluis Technologies.
Hanson Street boasts 70 studio spaces, an exhibition and project space, residency flat and is home to 200 artist tenants.
The project space is an open plan area, located next to the main entrance of the building. The space itself is 27m x 12.8m (see plan of space in downloads section).
This space has an industrial feel and, as it is embedded within a working artists’ studio building, lends itself to larger scale works and installations alongside evening performance events.
