Formerly the warehouse of cigarette manufacturer John Players, Hanson Street Studios was redeveloped in 2001 to become Scotland’s first purpose-built studio and events complex. Located in the Dennistoun area, Hanson Street Studios offers studio provision to nearly 150 artists across three floors. Glasgow Ceramics Studios and Glasgow Glass Studio are both located here.

Hanson Street’s Project Space is on the ground floor of the building, with floor to ceiling windows on one side facing out to the car park.
The space is used for market events and exhibitions.
