Perth Creative Exchange is Wasps’ twentieth building, and the first studio building in this region.

The former primary school building now provides twenty-six artist studio spaces, thirteen creative office spaces, the Ideas Centre, the Forteviot Workshop Space and the Gannochy Project Space for exhibitions and events. As of June 2025, with support from UNESCO City of Craft and Folk, Perth Creative Exchange now has a ceramics and glass firing room and a photography darkroom available for the artist community of Perth to use.

Wasps’ cultural addition to The Highlands are two redeveloped Category-B Listed buildings in the centre of the northern capital, creating Inverness Creative Academy – The Highlands’ first major creative hub.

Inverness Creative Academy provides over 30 artist studios, over 50 creative office spaces and stunning exhibition/event spaces for hire.

The building provides:

34 artist studios for makers working in any medium

54 workspaces for the creative industries including long term office space

Flexible co-working spaces for up to 26 freelancers/creative workers

A wealth of public events spaces – the Asssembly Hall, the Gym Hall and the workshop space

Fully accessible meeting rooms and facilities for hire

Public café within the restored, double height, former Assembly Hall
