CASE STUDY: Circular Arts Network

Beyond our own direct emissions, as a buildings-based cultural organisation, we have the potential to contribute to Scotland’s wider net-zero target through influencing across our networks.
As members of the Green Arts Initiative, Wasps is already working within Creative Carbon Scotland’s network to collaborate with other arts and cultural organisations to better understand the role we can play in decarbonisation, and drive change via a collaborative and creative approach.

The Briggait is a partner venue for the Circular Arts Network (CAN) collection and delivery service, acting as a collection/ drop off point. In collaboration with Mungo Messengers and Co-Wheels, this initiative is set to revolutionise the circular economy in the arts by creating door-to-door delivery and collection. CAN have established drop-off points across Glasgow, facilitating the seamless sharing and reuse of materials, tools, and resources within the arts community.
