Jenni Douglas designs and makes a wide range of art, gift and home products from her studio and workshop (Wasps Riverside House studios in Gorgie). Jenni started her brand in 2011 and has grown steadily each year, now supplying independent shops and galleries worldwide. Jenni’s style primarily comes from a love of traditional printmaking processes and Midcentury modern design.
Since 2013, Jenni has taught printmaking classes in community workshop settings, with an emphasis on building confidence, celebrating inclusivity and promoting positive mental health.
Sustainability and community are at the heart of Jenni’s work. Her products are made using mainly locally sourced, recycled and recyclable materials as possible, and she enjoys working with lots of other small businesses in Scotland and the UK.
