This exhibition brings together selected works from the Hard Ground Printmakers publishing collection alongside recent linocuts and mixed-media works by its founder, Jonathan Comerford.

Established in Cape Town in 1989, Hard Ground Printmakers began as an open-access collaborative workshop and independent fine-art print publisher. It continues today as an autonomous, mobile publishing workshop, operating from Comerford’s studio at Langstane Place in Aberdeen, the Granite City.

The exhibition includes works by Hakim Onitola, RUN, Billy Mandindi, SABAPRODAKTION, David Delemano and Nicolaas Maritz. Comerford’s own work includes the recent linocut On Cloud Nine and works from his African Fetish series.

The exhibition runs concurrently with Jonathan Comerford: Printmaking Sans Frontiers, Stand 13B at Aberdeen Art Fair 2026.
