Wasps reopened the building in November 2016. Today, The Old Library provides studios to a small group of Orcadian artists across five spaces, and is the location of Soulisquoy Printmakers.

Located in Stromness in Orkney, The Old Library on Hellihole Road was established by the local community in 1906. The first librarian and custodian of the building, James Brass, was paid a salary of £6 per annum and given accommodation in the rooms (with a fireplace) above the library and reading room on the ground floor.
