This exhibition features a diverse selection of work by 4th Year New Media Art students from the University of the West of Scotland, encompassing illustration, painting, moving image, mixed media, urban art, and installation.

The New Media Art programme comprises modules in Projection Mapping, Moving Image and Time-Based Art, Motion Graphics for Film and Television, Self-Promotion, Intervention Based works, Work Related Learning, and modules focussed on critical thinking and practice as research, giving students the opportunity to develop a range of skills across areas of the creative industries.

This is the culmination of several years of hard work by these students, completed under the stresses of isolation and remote learning due to the Covid pandemic. I’m sure you will find some of the work thought provoking, playful and interesting.

There will be a public reception on Thursday 22nd from 6pm until 8pm in the gallery space at South Block with snacks and refreshments provided, so please join us to celebrate their achievements!
