The artists of Perth Creative Exchange (Perthshire’s newest artist and creative industries centre) are delighted to be working with Perthshire Artisans once again this spring to present their vibrant Spring Market and Open Studios event.

Building on the success of last year’s collaborative event it promises a diverse and carefully selected showcase of work from both local studio holders and the wider artistic community. Entry is free, the building is wheelchair accessible and visitors are welcome on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May, 10am – 4pm. Light refreshments will be available from our onsite pop-up cafe.

Join us for a splash of inspiration, colour and creativity. With over twenty stalls exhibiting jewellery, textiles, ceramics, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and much more. And explore the studios to see what goes on behind the scenes, learn about creative processes and see makers in action. It’s a great day out whether you want to chat about all things creative, find unique gifts, connect with local artists or support small independent businesses.

We are back again in 2024 for the first market of the year at The Briggait in Glasgow.

Join us for a weekend packed full of beautifully made art and craft from Scotland’s most talented artists and makers this May! We’ll have upwards of 90 artisans under one roof for two days only, selling everything your heart desires – ceramics, textiles, paintings, glass, aromatics, jewellery, prints and the rest.

Parade Artists would like to welcome you all to the annual Christmas Market Open Saturday 18th until Sunday 26th November, from 10am–4pm each day.

This wonderful event will host over 30 artists work, with pieces made especially for the Christmas Fair. The artists are of many disciplines including printmaking, painting, texting, glass and ceramics.

Pop-up cafe will be open on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November.

Romany flowers, battuto-inspired porcelain and copper-coated kelp are just some of the unusual creations on show at Wasps Studios at The Steeple in Newburgh, which is holding its second Art and Design Market on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 November, 11am-4pm.

Five new makers are joining the Newburgh artists to show their work which includes an inspiring array of wood carving, horseshoe pieces, willow baskets, artisan chocolate, woven blankets, seaweed artworks, knitwear, ceramics, paintings, linocut prints and silver jewellery.

There will be a demonstration by woodworker Rory MacPhee, whose work includes creating Romany flowers and yakisugi, a traditional Japanese technique of ebonising wood.

Homemade muffins, tea and coffee will be on sale. On Sunday, musicians Colin McEwan and Yvonne McLeod will be performing.

Perth Creative Exchange is delighted to be hosting its Annual Winter Market Event on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd December.

This event is being run and organised by CX tenants, who have invited fellow creatives from across Tayside to join us in providing a creative and welcoming events for the wider community to enjoy and participate in. We recognise that grass root events like this are a positive and proactive way to build and spotlight our amazing high quality creative community of artists and makers. We invite visitors to see a fantastic diversity of talent under one roof over the weekend. This will offer an opportunity to meet the makers at the market, visit open studios, attend a free family art workshop, and see the tenants exhibition, alongside stopping for a delicious cuppa & cake from our pop up cafe.

The newly restored former Inverness Royal Academy building is now the first creative hub of the Highlands established by Wasps, providing studio/office spaces, events spaces and galleries. The Winter Markets take place in the beautifully refurbished Gym Hall and Science Room.
