Wasps invites applications from artists across the entire Wasps network for Elevate; a collaboratively produced learning and development programme in its first year that will support sixteen early career artists across eighteen months. Elevate offers time to come together with other artists from across Scotland to discuss ideas, develop approaches to practice and to present work publicly.
Starting in July 2022, the pilot initiative, Elevate, with be built around a series of 4 intensive workshops, 4 talks, and a solo exhibition per artist, with additional scope for optional engagement projects in conjunction with the host building.
External artistic advisors will be selected for each of the artists, to provide 8 hours of 1:1 mentoring sessions, in response to each artist’s direct needs and personal goals. This process will collaboratively shape and develop reflective periods within the programme, in a supportive manner whilst sharing expertise, resources and networks.
Elevate is open to all Wasps tenants that self-identify as an early career artist.
The deadline for applications is 17th June at 5pm.
Applicants will be notified by Mid July.

We can’t wait to welcome you to this unique market where you can support artists, makers and independent businesses all indoors at Perth Creative Exchange. All work will be for sale, bought directly from the creators, ranging from fine art to jewellery, homeware and crafts.
The event will be free for all and is part of Wasps’ line up of Summer Markets across three weekends in Perth, Inverness and Glasgow.
Dates: 30th & 31st July
