Eagle House

Eagle House Studios is located close to Aberdeen Harbour and provides 10 studios at first floor level. It has been under Wasps’ wing since 2008.

Meadow Mill Studios

The first studio building of its kind in Dundee, Wasps redeveloped Meadow Mill building, a historic jute mill , in 2012, to create 58 Studios across three floors, housing up to 100 artists. It also supports a top floor gallery/exhibition space.

Albion Road, Leith

Albion Road Studios has 22 studios over two floors and currently provides workspace for 33 artists. It forms part of the Albion Road Business Centre, situated next door to Hibernian Football ground at Easter Road.
The studios sit among a cluster of artisan companies and makers that constitute the business centre.

West Park Place

West Park Place, located a stone’s throw from Haymarket Train Station, provides 40 studios over a number of floors. The studios range in size and shape, including individual studios and open plan studios and boasts a workshop area on the lower ground floor.

Patriothall Studios

Wasps has operated Patriothall Studios, a red-brick former industrial building in the heart of Stockbridge, since 1984. It is now home to over 50 artists and features a gallery space which supports an annual programme of exhibitions.

The Courtyard

Courtyard Studios is a studio complex converted by Wasps in 1994 and is situated on Irvine’s regenerated harbour front. Courtyard Studios provides 17 studios housing 15 artists. The Courtyard has a strong creative community and is home to artists with diverse practices.

This linked townhouse development, Cannonwalls and Claverhouse, provides 14 artist studio spaces, as well as a communal kitchen and toilet facilities in a contemporary facility in the heart of Kirkcudbright, Scotland’s Artist Town.

Links Studios

A short walk from the north coast, Wasps’ facility in Nairn, a former primary school Wasps converted in 2015, offers eight studios, one creative industries space and a social area/gallery that meets the needs of creative people working locally. Supporting 16 tenants, Links Studios is a place where people from different creative paths can work under one roof to share ideas, skills and collaborate.

The Steeple

The Steeple is an award-winning arts facility in Newburgh, a picturesque town on the south bank of the River Tay in north east Fife. Wasps renovated the former Town Hall, Town House and Corn Exchange in 2008, to provide eight studios spaces and a project/events space.

Perth Creative Exchange

Perth Creative Exchange, winner of the Regeneration Project of the Year at the 2021 Scottish Property Awards, is a £4.5m partnership project between Wasps and Perth and Kinross Council which transformed the former St John’s School building to create Perth’s inspiring home for artists, makers, creative industry professionals and the general public, the first of its kind for the region.

St Mary’s Mill

Selkirk is one of the oldest Royal Burghs and marks the site of one of the oldest settlements in what is now known as the Scottish Borders. St Mary’s Mill sits on the bank of the Ettrick Water, a tributary of the River Tweed. St Mary’s Mill supports 12 artists with 12 studio spaces, a gallery and workshop space.

The Booth

The Booth was constructed by Scalloway Waterfront Trust in 2001. It was built on the site of an old fisherman’s store which was the oldest building in the town and was converted into a live-work space for visiting artists which is managed by Wasps in partnership with Shetland Arts Trust.

A converted Blackhouse in the Braes area of Skye, this residency has three individual studios situated in the grounds. Wasps would like to invite visual artists, makers, designers, writers and performers to apply to stay at The Admirals House in Skye.

Stromness Studios

To the delight of the local community Wasps returned this property to use as artists’ studios in 2015, in a town immortalised in poetry and song. This beautiful studio project provides five studios spaces and is home to Soulisquoy Printmakers Collective, and is near neighbour to the Pier Arts Centre.
