Romany flowers, battuto-inspired porcelain and copper-coated kelp are just some of the unusual creations on show at Wasps Studios at The Steeple in Newburgh, which is holding its second Art and Design Market on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 November, 11am-4pm.

Five new makers are joining the Newburgh artists to show their work which includes an inspiring array of wood carving, horseshoe pieces, willow baskets, artisan chocolate, woven blankets, seaweed artworks, knitwear, ceramics, paintings, linocut prints and silver jewellery.

There will be a demonstration by woodworker Rory MacPhee, whose work includes creating Romany flowers and yakisugi, a traditional Japanese technique of ebonising wood.

Homemade muffins, tea and coffee will be on sale. On Sunday, musicians Colin McEwan and Yvonne McLeod will be performing.

Free entry, disabled access.
