Ralph Robin is one of Adalime’s life-like birds. He is made from a clear base, and he’s hand-built with colours that are as close to the popular garden bird we all know and love. Glass paint has been added around the wing and tail to give a hint of detail to his feathery features.
Ralph is made with fused glass cut into shape and layered before heading to the kiln to be fired. After Ralph has been moulded beautifully into a solid glass bird sculpture, he is then ready to be homed. He will easily stand by a window where he’ll glimmer beautifully in the natural light, or he can just hang out on a shelf by a plant or sit by your laptop on your worktable. Basically, any flat surface you think will bring you or someone you know some joy All the birds were designed and developed by artist Moira Buchanan. And all are original works and one-off art pieces.
Handmade Rupert will make a fine addition to your home this Christmas.

The little sculptures are based on colourful birds.
